Could the Rams be key to a blockbuster trade scenario on draft day?

Buffalo stampede
NFL Rumors about the Buffalo Bills' interest in trading up in the 2024 NFL Draft for one of the top receivers in this class are some of the worst-kept secrets going right now. Immediately after the Bills traded WR Stefon Diggs, we proposed a trade scenario as a ripple effect to the Bills' lack of WRs this season. But what if we were to modify that trade package?
Rather than take the Bills Round 1 pick (29th overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft, what might that trade package look like if the Rams deferred a Round 1 pick until 2025? To form an objective decision, let's take a look:
In this trade scenario, the LA Rams defer making a selection in Round 1 of the NFL Draft for at least one more year. But the team adds a valuable pick in Round 2, picks up two picks in Round 4, and adds a valuable pick in Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft. Is that enough to persuade GM Les Snead to pull the trigger? I think so.
The Buffalo Bills would be floored by this trade scenario. They get a coveted Round 1 pick to secure a top-tier WR from this rookie class, retain their original Round 1 pick to add another playmaker to their roster and upgrade two picks in Round 4 to a pick in Round 3. They end up in a much better position after making this draft. And they even get to defer a Round 1 pick to 2025, a year that they could arguably be coming off a Super Bowl victory.
