Kyler Murray already throwing coaches under the bus is great news for Rams

Nice to see everything is going so well for the Cardinals.

While the Los Angeles Rams lost their season opener, so did the Arizona Cardinals. To make matters worse for the Cardinals, they held a 17-3 lead before the Bills stormed their way back and won the game 34 to 28.

It was fun to watch the Cardinals blow that lead but the events since that game concluded have been even more fun. First and foremost, there was a ton of hype surrounding fourth-overall pick Marvin Harrison Jr., who was supposed to give the Cardinals offense more juice. Well, in Harrison's NFL debut, he had just one catch for four yards.

On one play, Harrison was wide open but Kyler Murray failed to throw the ball in his direction. When asked why he targeted his new weapon three times, the Cardinals quarterback shifted the blame onto Drew Petzing, the team's offensive coordinator.

Rams fans will enjoy drama already happening between Kyler Murray and Cardinals

The Cardinals finished last year with a 4-13 record, the second straight year that they accomplished this feat. Murray was out with an injury for most of the year but when he returned to the lineup, things felt different for Arizona and that the Cardinals might be more competitive in 2024.

We're only one game into the 2024 season so there's plenty of football left to be played but if there's already drama surfacing between Murray and the coaching staff, that's going to make things easier for the Rams. It's bad enough that the Rams have to share the same division as the 49ers, who have won the NFC in two of the last five years and made it to the NFC Championship Game in four of the last five years but if the Cardinals were going to be a team to contend with too, that'd be too much.

Rams fans want to see the Cardinals franchise continue to sputter and hopefully this comment from Murray causes drama in the desert.
