Rams 2024 opponents

While we await the actual release of the Rams 2024 weekly schedule, we have already taken an early look and identified the toughest home and road games on the Rams schedule for this year. But just as a quick refresher, let's review the Rams' opponents for the upcoming season.

HOME (9 games)

  • Arizona Cardinals (4-13)
  • San Francisco 49ers (12-5)
  • Seattle Seahawks (9-8)
  • Buffalo Bills (11-6)
  • Green Bay Packers (9-8)
  • Las Vegas Raiders (8-9)
  • Miami Dolphins (11-6)
  • Minnesota Vikings (7-10)
  • Philadelphia Eagles (11-6)

The Rams get three East Coast opponents (Eagles, Dolphins, Bills) at home this season, plus two tough road opponents (Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings) in the comfortable SoFi Stadium. While that will cut down on the frequent flyer miles for players, that will certainly help the team manage the wear and tear inflicted by so much travel in the season.

AWAY (8 games)

  • Arizona Cardinals (4-13)
  • San Francisco 49ers (12-5)
  • Seattle Seahawks (9-8)
  • Chicago Bears (7-10)
  • Detroit Lions (12-5)
  • New England Patriots (4-13)
  • New Orleans Saints (9-8)
  • New York Jets (7-10)

This is the year that all NFC teams get the 'extra' home game, which bodes well for the Rams. Still, the team will be piling up the air miles this season by travelling to the distant East Coast twice (New England Patriots and New York Jets). The team will also visit three teams in the Central Time Zone (New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, and Detroit Lions)

Sometimes, it's that battle against flipping between time zones that creates more problems for the team than the opponents themselves.
