The LA Rams returned to the football field down by a horrific score of 27-0, and the truth is that the final score may not have represented just how hapless this Rams team appeared in the first half of a very important game.

Forget what you thought you knew about this LA Rams roster, there was little to cheer for in this one. But at the same time, forget what you saw from the LA Rams in this game, as many of the players who played and failed to make plays will likely not survive the LA Rams roster cuts. And to be clear, from what we witnessed, the Rams front office could be incredibly active on the NFL Waiver Wire.

Despite the LA Rams need to show signs of positive development in this game, the Rams showed signs of sloppy play, mental mistakes, and simply completely and non-entertaining football.

Rams placed painted starters into a corner

While many of the players for the Rams in this preseason game will likely be given the bad news early next week regard their status of being waived by the team, they wore the Rams uniform in a lopsided loss. Even as the Rams will have a completely new set of players starting on both the offensive and defensive side of the football, those starters will need to overcome the stigma of this showing.

But it will not be simply the Rams starters being forced to turn the momentum of this team around. The LA Rams have to ponder whether their starting kicker is really on the Rams roster. For that matter, do the Rams need to shop the NFL Waiver wire for pass rushers, defensive backs, a backup quarterback, and perhaps even a nose tackle?
