Day 3 of any NFL Draft is the final day of the three day event. And somehow, the powers that be designed NFL fans to be exhausted from all of the exhilaration from two prime time spectacularly entertaining evenings. But on Day 3, the remaining picks fly by at lightning speed.

The LA Rams managed to trade back on Day 2, but never lost that second pick in Round 3 in the process. Instead, the Rams deftly closed the gap from the 77th overall pick to the 167th overall pick by making a final selection at the 89th overall pick. That, coupled with getting a pick in Round 4 of the draft has shrunk that 90-pick gap down to 41 picks. Not bad.
