The LA Rams (6-6) face a very challenging game in Week 14, as they must face the AFC-leading Baltimore Ravens (9-3) at their home M&T Stadium. Not only must the Rams brave the burden of playing three hours earlier, 10:00 am PT, due to the time zone difference, but the Rams must also face the elements. It's rainy. It's windy. And it's just lousy weather for a football game.

The Ravens are coming off their Week 13 BYE, and are well-rested and health. That is not the case for the LA Rams, whose roster is thinning out rapidly in this game.

Early in the game, the LA Rams starting right tackle Rob Havenstein was slow to get up after the play. He was taken to the sidelines, and replaced with swing tackle Joe Noteboom. Reports are that Havenstein is fighting through a hip injury, and is questionable to return in the game.

Adding insult to injury, the LA Rams have a rapidly thinning tight end group. TE Tyler Higbee was already inactive in Week 13 due to a neck injury. But backup TE Hunter Long, who stepped up to replace Higbee, was injured while blocking on special teams. He was injured on a play (knee), and is doubtful to return.

Finally, the Rams wide receiver group has been impacted as well. On a deep pass play,. Rams WR Tutu Atwell was hit hard just before the football arrived. Curiously, no flag was thrown, but Atwell had to be helped off the football field. He was taken to the medical tent and is being evaluated as per the NFL Concussion Protocol.

One of the goals for the LA Rams in Week 14, win or lose, is to emerge from this game healthy. So far, that is not the case, as three LA Rams have been injured in the first half.

The Rams have been very competitive in this game. In fact, the Rams lead at halftime.

There is plenty of football to be played. But the pace at which the LA Rams are getting injured in this one is a bit alarming. Can the Rams upset the Ravens in this one? Can the Rams stay healthy through the remainder of the game? The Rams are playing well, but this is an awfully tough draw to face the Ravens on the road. Stay tuned, as the Rams are back on the field.
