Last year, the L.A. Rams got outstanding production from a pair of rookies on their front seven. This coming season, they'll look to get the exact same thing.

In Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Rams were able to land one of the top pass rushers in the class, selecting Jared Verse out of Florida State.

At one point, we heard the Rams were wanting to trade into the top 10, but that didn't come to fruition. Still, the value of Verse at no. 19 looks fantastic at this point. Now, entering the second and third rounds on Friday night, where do the Rams turn next?

The Rams have three picks to work with on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft

L.A. has one pick in the second round, coming at no. 52 overall, plus a pair of third rounders (no. 83 and no. 99). As for the top players still out there after Round 1, here are the top 10, some of which the Rams may have a shot at with that second-round pick.

Best available players on Day 2

Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon
Jer'Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois
Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota
Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Ennis Rakestraw, CB, Missouri
Chris Braswell, EDGE, Alabama
Adisa Isaac, EDGE, Penn State
Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

There are some tantalizing options, here, if the Rams were to have any of them available at no. 52. The team has some depth at those positions, namely wide receiver and cornerback. But, there are also some veterans getting up there in age at both spots, and specifically at cornerback, some potential injury concerns with Tre'Davious White.

Should the Rams be able to get one of Cooper DeJean, Kool-Aid McKinstry or Ennis Rakestraw, you'd think any one of them would be extremely difficult to pass on.

Still, if L.A. was looking Keon Coleman or Adonai Mitchell in the face at no. 52, they'd be difficult to pass on as well. Adding another top-tier weapon to a core featuring Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua could mean this Rams team goes for one more title run, and they go for it quickly.

Later in the third round, none of those 10 players should be available still when the Rams are picking. But, watch for those 10 as Round 2 kicks off Friday night.
