187th Overall Pick - Marcus Mbow, OT, Purdue

How about some offensive line help for the Los Angeles Rams? Mbow is probably an interior player at the next level and is at pick 187 in this mock draft, so the Rams may not be banking on him becoming a starter, but the OL injuries that have plagued the LA Rams thus far in 2024 could force them to build the most stout OL room possible in 2025.

This is especially true if Matthew Stafford is back under center in 2025 and if they were to go with a rookie QB. Having a competent offensive line is simply a non-negotiable in the NFL. Teams aren't going to win many games without one. The LA Rams fortunately have a very good offensive line on paper, but injuries don't really care about that.

Marcus Mbow is from Purdue and can hopefully settle into a backup role along the offensive interior for his NFL career.

201st Overall Pick - Jay Higgins, LB, Iowa

The final pick in this Los Angeles Rams 2025 NFL mock draft is a linebacker in Jay Higgins from Iowa. The Rams probably wanted to keep ILB Ernest Jones IV around, but I guess the money did not make sense for both sides. Jones is now on the Tennessee Titans and is, of course, balling out.

The team should seek to address the linebacker position in free agency and in the 2025 NFL Draft, as Christian Rozeboom and Troy Reeder is not a viable solution. In 14 games for the Hawkeyes in 2023, Higgins had 171 total tackles.

He also added five tackles for loss and two sacks, this is was and is a player who is constantly all over the football. The Rams could stand to find a tackling machine like Higgins. Being able to get him at pick 201 could be one of the steals of the NFL Draft.

LA Rams' GM Les Snead seems to have hit a home run recently with some recent draft classes. Being that the Rams are now trying to turn the page and build a young and sustainable team, I would hope that Snead continues to trot out these strong rookie classes. Would this be another one?
