Following the 2024 NFL Draft, the L.A. Rams look to be in even better shape than they may have thought they'd be in just a few weeks ago.
The Rams found some excellent value with a few of their picks, especially that first rounder, bringing in one of the best pass rushers in the class, Jared Verse.
After all was said and done, the Rams added talent all over the board, whether it was with draft capital or by way of undrafted free agency. So, now what?
Which players might be on the hot seat after the NFL Draft?
We try and identify one player at each position whom finds themselves on the roster bubble, for now.
Quarterback: Dresser Winn
The Rams probably don't need to keep more than two quarterbacks, nor should they necessarily worry about anyone snatching Dresser Winn up after cutting him this fall. L.A. will be just fine cutting ties and bringing him back to the practice squad, barring any other move at the position before then.
For now, it'll be Matthew Stafford as the starter and former Georgia standout Stetson Bennett backing him up. Winn qualifies as being on the bubble simply because he's third in line.
Running Back: Boston Scott
The Rams have a crowded running back room, with Kyren Williams and rookie third-round pick Blake Corum likely leading the way for touches. Behind those two are Ronnie Rivers and Zach Evans. But, the team also signed former Philadelphia Eagles veteran Boston Scott.
Though Scott is experienced and versatile, he still projects as the last man on the depth chart, for now. He's going to have a hard time making a roster, especially with the way the running back landscape has been toward guys over the age of 28 the last few years (Scott is 29).
