The Los Angeles Rams have to start winning now if they hope to save their season. Let's predict their next three games coming out of the bye week. One of the most dangerous teams in the NFL is a well-coached team off of their bye week. I believe the LA Rams fit into this category quite well.
Injuries have derailed their season. However, never say never I guess...
The Rams must find a way to win two of their next three at least if they hope to save their season. Their schedule is too bad down the stretch, but there are some formidable opponents they must try to win against. Let's try to predict their next three games coming out of of the bye week.
Predicting the LA Rams next three games coming out of their bye week
After falling to a record of 1-4, there are no easy games on the Rams schedule. But that is not the same as not facing any vulnerable opponents. Let's take a look:
Week 7 vs. Las Vegas Raiders
This may end up being one of the biggest blowouts of the 2024 NFL Season. On one sideline, you have a Super Bowl-winning head coach/QB duo who is fresh coming off of their bye week and who simply know how to win football games.
On the other sideline, you have one of the most dysfunctional teams in the NFL who have been blown out in all of their losses. The Las Vegas Raiders also just traded WR Davante Adams to the New York Jets and have already benched their starting QB in Gardner Minshew.
I truly see no scenario where the Raiders win this. It's going to be a bloodbath, folks. Mark my words.
Predicting: Rams win 37-13
Week 8 vs. Minnesota Vikings
And now we have the Minnesota Vikings coming to town in Week 8. I so badly want to pick this team to win, but I just don't know if I have it in me. I would give the QB and head coach advantage to the Los Angeles Rams, but the Vikings aren't nearly as injured and simply have been the better team this year.
If the Rams want to save their season in 2024, this is the type of game they'd have to win. They won't be able to just roll over weaker opponents and hope to make the playoffs. The Minnesota Vikings did have their bye week in Week 6, but they host the Detroit Lions in Week 7, so if that is an intense game, the Vikings might be physically and emotionally worn out.
The Rams can play spoiler here, but I just do not see it right now.
Prediction: Vikings win 27-20
Week 9 @ Seattle Seahawks
I knew for weeks that the Seattle Seahawks were fraudulent, and I am happy to report that they indeed are. They started 3-0 against a rookie QB making his first NFL start (Bo Nix), Jacoby Brissett and the New England Patriots, and then the Miami Dolphins without Tua Tagovailoa.
They have since lost three in a row and are going to lose in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams. Geno Smith is not a very good QB and is going to limit this team as long as he's under center, and they have a rookie head coach in Mike Macdonald who comes with a ceiling because of him being in year one.
Seattle is an average team at best that has a ton of flaws, and the well-coached LA Rams will be able to take care of business and get to 3-5 when the next three games conclude, which give them a bit of hope to turn their season around.
