The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is well underway. And the Los Angeles Rams, holding four picks within the top 100 selections in the upcoming draft, are heavily invested in getting those valuable picks right.
Unfortunately, it won't be easy.
That is not to say that general manager Les Snead can snooze through this week's events. Quite the contrary. With so much draft capital to spend, the personnel office must cast a much wider net and evaluate the top prospects in this draft.
That's quite the change for a team that has historically been content with debuting on Day 2 of the draft. That's when Snead does his best magic.
The team has a rather long but fuzzy shopping list for this draft. And with so many possibilities, fans have plenty of solid reasons to remain abreast of the best performers throughout the combine. Defenders were the first to arrive, but offensive players will soon start making headlines as well.
Rams fans can enjoy the best of the NFL combine now
Fans will be kept busy this week. The 2026 NFL Scouting Combine is not the end of an evaluation period for rookie prospects. In many ways, it signifies the start of a journey that will carry young men to and through the NFL draft process. The events began on Sunday, February 22, and will run through Monday, March 2nd.

Players are organized in four groups, and their progress through the week-long event is staggered so that fans can expect new information from each position group daily:
- Group I: Placekicker, defensive linemen, interior linebackers
- Group II: Defensive backs, tight ends
- Group III: Quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers
- Group IV: Offensive linemen
On Thursday, February 26th, Group I begins the first on-field workouts and recording of measurable data. Workouts and measurements are the stuff that fans most enjoy, as it serves to record the athleticism of each prospect. These measurements and workouts will continue for the next five days.
Stay tuned. While many teams use combine information merely to confirm tier rankings for prospects, it's the first true comparative measures readily available to fans. As such, its popularity continues to grow annually.
As always, thanks for reading.
