The Los Angeles Rams are set for another Super Bowl run heading into 2025, but their roster is aging quickly at key positions. Despite an MVP-worthy season, the team understands that veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford almost didn't take the field this season.
They'll need to nail the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft to continue their dominance.
Luckily, they have an extra first-round pick thanks to their trade with the Atlanta Falcons last offseason. And they'll need it, as the team may need to restock the offense, as multiple veterans have suffered injuries and face expiring contracts.
With the regular season in the books, the final draft order is finally coming into focus. In this seven-round mock draft, the Rams build on their success while replenishing the weakest areas of their roster.
Los Angeles Rams seven-round 2026 mock draft
Round 1, pick 13: Rams draft Tennessee CB Jermod McCoy
The Rams got solid play out of their cornerbacks this year, but they could stand to upgrade Emmanuel Forbes in the offseason. Jermod McCoy missed the 2025 season with an injury, but he's still the top cornerback in this draft class.
Round 1, pick 29: Rams draft Utah OT Caleb Lomu
Caleb Lomu is a young prospect who could benefit from sitting behind a veteran for a year, but he could step in as the Rams' Rob Havenstein replacement in 2026 if needed. He's a physically gifted and controlled prospect who should be one of the top offensive linemen in this class.
Round 2, pick 61: Rams draft Connecticut WR Skyler Bell
The Rams might have one of the best wide receiver duos in football, but their depth behind Puka Nacua and Davantae Adams is limited. Skyler Bell is the kind of player Sean McVay would love: a crafty, refined route runner who is willing to block in the run game.
Round 3, pick 93: Rams draft Penn State S Zakee Wheatley
Penn State's Zakee Wheatley has been one of the few bright spots in a rocky season for the Nittany Lions. If the Rams let Kam Curl walk in free agency, Wheatley could help replace him.
Round 5, pick 142: Rams draft Georgia OT Monroe Freeling
Georgia's Monroe Freeling is a hidden gem for now, but don't be surprised if he rises on draft boards later in the process. He has the tools to be a starter in the NFL. Here, the Rams take him as a swing tackle for the future.
Round 5, pick 167: Rams draft Texas IDL Cole Brevard
The ability to rotate defensive linemen on the interior is paramount in today's NFL, and Texas product Cole Brevard could bolster the Rams' rotation in the later rounds. He's a big-bodied defensive tackle who could serve as Poona Ford's eventual replacement.
Round 6, pick 206: Rams draft Ohio State G Ethan Onianwa
Los Angeles comes back to the offensive line well in the sixth round, this time finding depth on the interior with Ohio State guard Ethan Onianwa. While his tape doesn't show starting-caliber play quite yet, he could fill in when needed for the Rams.
Round 7, pick 250: Rams draft Arkansas QB Taylen Green
The Rams didn't find their Matthew Stafford replacement early in this mock draft, and they probably won't in 2026, barring a major trade. But Arkansas prospect Taylen Green has enough physical traits to take a chance on in the seventh round.
Round 7, pick 255: Rams draft Iowa S Xavier Nwankpa
With their final pick in this mock draft, the Rams select Iowa safety Xavier Nwankpa, whose athleticism and large frame make him an interesting special teams addition.
