Los Angeles Rams decides to have a little fun on social media by joking about the ridiculous cost of Lavar Ball’s new shoes.

Over the years, Los Angeles Rams punter Johnny Hekker has never been shy when it comes to joking around on social media, whether it involves messing with some of his teammates or earning free Amazon Prime. This week, one of the hottest headlines in sports has been the release of Lavar Ball’s ridiculous shoes from Big Baller Brand, and with the one pair listed at $495, it seemed like only a matter of time before Hekker was going to chime in on the matter.

First off, it’s crazy to think there are people in this world that would be willing to pay that ridiculous amount of money for a pair of basketball shoes, but Ball seems pretty convinced his new line is going to turn out to be quite successful for his family. Second, it was hilarious to see Hekker get in on the action by posting a hilarious tweet in which he joked about teaming up with the company to release a special kicking shoe at a very affordable price (note the sarcasm).

Give Hekker credit for not holding back with his hilarious sense of humor on this topic, as he didn’t hold back calling Ball out on his company’s ridiculous cost for BBB attire. Plus, when considering Hekker is arguably the funniest player on Los Angeles, it’s these kinds of jokes he can easily get away with making.

As for the Rams in general, it will be exciting to see how the next few months play out after the team added numerous weapons in the 2017 NFL Draft for Jared Goff to work with in Cooper Kupp and Josh Reynolds. If all goes according to plan, Hekker will hopefully be making less punts than he did last season when Los Angeles only averaged 14 points per game, which had them ranked dead last in the NFL.
