The St. Louis Rams are in an interesting position heading into the offseason. There is obviously a need on the interior of the offensive line, but “how” they should address that need is murky, at best.
One option could be utilizing the players currently under contract. Jake Long might be able to continue his career as an interior lineman, assuming he wants to come back after sustaining his second ACL tear in as many years. Moreover, Barrett Jones, the Rams 2013 4th-rounder, seems to be held in high regards by Jeff Fisher, and might be able to fill that role in the upcoming season.

Another option is addressing the position in the 2015 NFL Draft, although, with limited picks, maneuvering to get their top choice might be tough. However, their best answer might be in free agency, with a handful of top candidates available.
First on that list might be divisional-rival, Mike Iupati, who is slated for new contract in San Francisco. With the shuffling of coaching personnel, Iupati has been put on the backburner, which could be good news for St. Louis, if they are willing to hand out a respectable offer.
Top candidate: Mike Iupati, San Francisco
Second option: Clint Boling, Denver
