Players

1)Tavon Austin(@Tayaustin01) vs 16)Daren Bates(@DB_5trey)

Tavon Austin, while it may not be surprising, has the most followers on Twitter with 98.8k followers. Overall Austin is a good follow and should move on to the next round but dont rule out @DB_5trey.

Daren Bates is a cinderella story waiting to happen. Austin isn’t the strongest one seed, but the stats dont lie, a number 16 has never in the history of March Madness defeated a one seed, will this be the first?

2)Chris Long(@Joel9One) vs 15)E.J. Gaines(@GainesTrain_31)

While some may say he’s under seeded, Long may be the best Twitter follow in Rams Nation. Everybody knows Long on the field, but off the field, he really lets you know who we is on Twitter. This is a 2 vs 15 seed, but I think Long sums up this match up well right here.

E.J. Gaines is going to need a miracle to pull this upset off, but anything is possible. If anything you have to give it up to him with the creative Twitter handle.

3)Tre Mason(@TreMason) vs 14)Trumaine Johnson

By far one of the more intriguing 3 vs 14 matchups, we have standout running back Tre Mason taking on cornerback Trumaine Johnson. Mason always has something inspirational and motivating to say. For sure worth a follow.

Trumaine Johnson is my guy out of Montana, but he’ll need to pull off quite the upset to get into the third round.

4)Barrett Jones(@BarrettAJones) vs 13) James Laurinaitis(@JLaurinaitis55)

This one just has upset written all over it, but as Jones has 65k followers, Laurinaitis is new to the Twitter game and only has 19.2k. Jones may not be healthy enough to get on the field, but hey, at least he can play golf.

Laurinaitis has been a big part of the Rams over the years and finally is getting more active in the Twitter games thanks to our number two seed.  If you ever need a Tweet welcoming a new teammate or missing what’s going on at Ohio St. Laurinaitis has it covered.

5)Stedman Bailey(@iamSB3) vs 12) Michael Brockers(@MichaelBrockers)

This is a very interesting 5 vs 12 matchup, they always are. Both are must follows on Twitter, but Sted might have the slight advantage in this one. Just on his Twitter you can see Bailey’s drive to get better.

Michael Brockers has a tough matchup against Stedman Bailey, but he’s still a good follow on Twitter and likes to show what he does off the field.

6) Robert Quinn(@RQuinn94) vs 11) T.J. McDonald(@tmcdonaldjr)

Robert Quinn is another player who could be seen as being under seeded which is unfortunate for McDonald who is a dangerous 11 seed. As you would expect, Quinn is a pretty chill guy on Twitter always sharing wisdom.

McDonald on the other hand lets you into his personal life a little bit and let’s you know what he’s doing on a day to day basis. Then on the occasion he’ll show his appreciation for his teammates.

7) Alec Ogletree(@B_easy_uga9) vs 10) Janoris Jenkins(@JjenkzLockdown)

This matchup could really be a toss up, but I wouldnt be surprised if Jenkins pulls off the upset and moves into the second round here. However, Brockers did just get married and that in itself gives you a pass into the second round right?

As you can imagine, Jenkins is an amusing follow on Twitter. Just warning you, watch out for the Alien Invasion.

8)Kenny Britt(@KennyBritt_18) vs 9)Johnny Hekker(@JHekker)

Lastly in the players bracket, we have possibly the greatest matchup in the first round. This is a difficult matchup for Britt as Hekker is severely under seeded, but we couldn’t give a punter to much credit.

In the end this is all about the punters and afros and which one you prefer. #PuntersArePeople
