Mark Barron had himself a day against Cleveland, recording 16 total tackles, at linebacker nonetheless. Barron has stepped up big since Ogletree went down and is excelling as a linebacker. Labeled by the Rams as a “defensive weapon”, Barron can and has played all over the field at safety, linebacker, nickel etc. You can see how well he fits into this defense and what a positive impact its had on him. Goes to show how much a scheme can affect a player. Trading for Barron was a savvy move by the Rams as he continues to flash why he was a first round pick.
