Playoff Implications

The Rams will play their most important game to date Sunday for a number of reasons but primarily because of this…

Got it? OK good, as you can see there are big playoff implications in this game. If the Rams beat Minnesota they will leapfrog into the sixth and final playoff seed spot. If the season ended today, and the Rams came out with a victory, they would be in the playoffs. Every year under head coach Jeff Fisher St. Louis has been 3-5 at the halfway mark.  A win today puts them at 5-3, just what the doctor ordered. Not only that but the Rams would win their third straight game, the first time since 2012, and would command serious attention as a playoff contender beating a tough Vikings team at home.
