Connor Cook, Michigan State: Cook has seen his stock drop this season with some close calls at Michigan State and play that has been highly questionable. He still has the ideal size and speed NFL teams look for. His leadership skills are top-notch, but his accuracy leaves much to be desired. Cook can work his way into the middle of the first round, but probably wont slip much further than the beginning of the second-round.

Carson Wentz, North Dakota State: Wentz satisfies all those NFL teams looking for that dual threat quarterback. He has a strong arm and great size at 6’5”/230 lbs. He plays with his arm and his feet and is always a threat on the ground. However, like Lynch, he faces a huge challenge coming out of the FCS. Wentz projects to be a late first-round to early second round pick.

Christian Hackenberg, Penn State: Hackenberg was a a starter even as a freshman for the once perennial contenders at Penn State. However, it seems Hackenberg has regressed each season since then. Some scouts believe that is because the talent around him has regressed at a much higher rate. Some think it’s because Hackenberg may never be a starting QB in the NFL. Either way, he has shown signs of great ability and has a ceiling of high second-round pick.
