It’s hard to believe it’s already here. NFL Championship weekend features the top two seeds in both the AFC and NFL in the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, and New England Patriots. More importantly however, we will witness the 17th meeting between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

Like it or not, they may not directly play against each other, but when it’s arguably two of the greatest players of all-time going up against one another, it’s always going to be a good game. This meeting comes late in their careers and given that this may be Manning’s last season, this very well could be the last time we see Brady vs Manning. It may get exhausting listening to the matchup from the media, as football fans, it shouldnt be taken for granted.

Unfortunately for the Rams it has now been 14 years since the last time the team made an appearance in the conference championship. Of course they beat the Philadelphia Eagles in the Edward Jones dome 29-24 with an Aeneas Williams interception sealing the victory.

What happened one game later is something that Rams fans will never forget. By the leg of Adam Vinetari, the Rams suffered one of the greatest Super Bowl upsets by the score of 20-17. The Rams have never seemed to recover making the playoffs just twice since.

On that note, here’s what’s going on around the web:

Friday Night Fights: Foles and the 45th for Johnny Football and…Josh Gordon?

This is a very interesting proposing by Brandon Bate at Turf Show Times. The trade proposal is Nick Foles and the 45th overall pick for Johnny Manziel and Josh Gordon. The biggest question here would be whether or not you would be able to get 16 games out of either player. I believe a second round pick is a bit high, but its something worth thinking about.

Aaron Donald Named Pro Bowl Captain

As if Aaron Donald’s second season in the league couldn’t get any better. He will join Devonta Freeman, Odell Beckham Jr., and Geno Atkins as captains for the Pro Bowl teams. Donald will help put together his team’s roster.

2016 Mock Drafts: LA Rams Snag QB of the Future

NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein put together his first mock draft of the season. The Rams take a quarterback, but it may not be the one that you’re thinking of. While quarterback is a position of need, in their current situation, they aren’t in a spot to take one, and to be honest, there really isn’t one worth taking.

Los Angeles Rams Hope To Bring Mark Barron Back In Some Role

Mark Barron who plays a linebacker/safety hybrid role for the Rams defense is set to hit the free agent market. Nick Wagoner says bringing Barron back in some role is something that the Rams and Fisher are open to doing. Barron was a big part of the defense this season and should be a priority to re-sign.

Seat License Holders Sue Los Angeles Rams Over Access To LA Seats

This is now the second law suit that has been filed over the Rams’ move to Los Angeles. This law suit is being is by the holders of personal seat licenses who say they should retain their right to seat licenses and season tickets, even in California.
