It’s NFL Championship Weekend and it looks like we will have two highly contested games as the top seeds in both the AFC and NFC will battle for their spot in Super Bowl 50. With the first two rounds in the books, the final true football Sunday on the calendar is approaching. In the NFC it will be the Arizona Cardinals who will travel to play the Carolina Panthers and in the AFC the Broncos will host the Patriots in Manning-Brady part 17. Here are our predictions:

2. New England Patriots(-3) @ 1. Denver Broncos

Manning-Brady part 17, but in reality this is the Denver Broncos taking on the New England Patriots. The Patriots are road favorites and it’s not difficult to justify it. This is a team with a solid defense and with all of their weapons healthy, they are now rolling in the postseason.

The Broncos on the other hand, barely managed to get past the Pittsburgh Steelers who were without their top two offensive weapons in Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. To think a team lead by Peyton Manning would be struggling on offense is crazy, but that’s exactly what’s happening.

The key to this game will be whether or not the Broncos can contain Edelman as he is the Patriots offense. Gronkowski is a big part of it, but everything runs through Edelman. When all is said and done, Brady will get the last laugh in the Brady-Manning series.

Patriots 21, Broncos 16

2. Arizona Cardinals vs 1. Carolina Panthers(-3)

The Arizona Cardinals come in surviving a hail-mary in the closing seconds of regulation to force overtime. It wasn’t pretty, but they will play for a chance to go to the Super Bowl which is all that matters. This will be a difficult game for the Cardinals as not only will they be traveling to the east coast, they will also most likely be playing in poor conditions with snow storm “Jonas” terrorizing the eastern United States.

The Panthers proved why they were 15-1 after taking a 31-0 lead over the Seattle Seahawks. While they almost allowed a comeback, they did make it through and have earned the right to play for a chance in the Super Bowl.

Carson Palmer looked shaky in the first playoff game and now he will go against one of the league’s top defenses. The Cardinals will also have to deal with the conditions and for an offense that like to throw the ball deep, it’s not going to be easy. This will be a close game, but a rematch of Super Bowl 38  is likely in sight.
