It has now been a little over a week since the NFL owners voted to move the Los Angeles Rams from St. Louis. During the voting, another team that was involved was the San Diego Chargers who wanted to move to Los Angeles with the Carson plan. In the end however, it was Rams owner, Stan Kroenke’s, Inglewood plan that prevailed.

At the conclusion of the voting that ended 30-2 in favor of Inglewood it was decided that the Chargers would have until the stadium was built to decide if they wanted to be a second team in Los Angeles and work out a partnership deal with Kroenke.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Chargers and Rams are still discussing an L.A. partnership. If the Chargers do end up moving, Schefter says that a Raiders move to San Diego is very viable.

With talks still ongoing between the two owners, it seems like there is still plenty of interest from the Chargers to join the Rams as much as Rams fans in L.A. may not like it. At Kroenke’s press conference last week, fans booed whenever the Chargers were mentioned.

For our fans in St. Louis that are hoping for a team to move to the gateway city, it doesn’t look like it is going to be the Raiders. Mark Davis seems to be stuck on either having a new stadium in Oakland or now moving to San Diego.

This has been a very long process that is certainly far from over. The Chargers will have until late March to decide whether or not they want to make the move and join the Rams.
