Los Angeles Rams receiver Tavon Austin gets a chance to shine on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

Los Angeles Rams receiver Tavon Austin was cleared from concussion protocols and made available for Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

LA saw the best of their wide receiver corp when Austin and Sammy Watkins were cleared from concussion protocol and returned to practice Thursday.

Both were full participants.and were available for practice.

Austin has had his issues.

In San Francisco, Austin went 3 for 14 yards and a touchdown on a jet sweet that was ultimately called back.

But is this the best for the former West Virginia pass catcher?

Austin has become something of an enigma. His roll seems lost on a team who is finding its identity, but Austin isn’t part of it.

Goff, having gone for 282 yards and three touchdowns, can use all weapons on Sunday, Austin included.

Dallas is a measuring stick game for the Rams. LA would love to move to move to a season record of 3-1.

For Austin, it’s also an indicator of where he might be, or where the team might be without him. Austin is a guy who has gotten lost in the shuffle of a team who know where it is going, but not necessarily going with him.

Dallas may be the best chance to remind fans and Rams brass that he is an investment worth taking a longer look at.
