The second half of the 2017 NFL season is upon us, and the best stories these last eight weeks will play out for the Los Angeles Rams and the NFC West.

The Los Angeles Rams will be part of an exciting second half in the NFC West. While the Seattle Seahawks lost a close one to the Washington Redskins 17-14, and Arizona held off the San Francisco 49ers 20-10, the last eight games, especially December for LA, may play out as the best division matchups in the NFL.

No, that’s not hype, just a statement of fact.

While the odds on favorites will continue to be the Rams and Seahawks, you can expect a lot of noise from both Arizona and the 49ers as they look to play spoilers for both division leaders.

But with half of the season in the books, the most intriguing teams in the league are out West.

Los Angeles likely has the best talent and balance.

San Francisco has played a lot of close games, especially against division opponents and boasts a ton of promise late this season and into 2018.

Seattle, who continues to be the team to beat until someone does, will live and die with the success or failure of their quarterback Russell Wilson.

And Arizona, who is old but has talent at wide receiver and running back, is still a threat on Sunday.

But hands down, the NFC boasts two of the most exciting teams in the league in the Rams and the Eagles of the NFC East.

We all will get maybe one of the best games in football come December 10, when Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles come to LA to argue they may have the best young quarterback in the NFL.

The second half of the 2017 season will be a likely preview of what may happen in 2018, especially in the NFC West.

And the Rams may be the best part of it all.
