Rams get Eagles after Philadelphia’s trip to Seattle

PHILADELPHIA, PA - NOVEMBER 26: Carson Wentz

The Los Angeles Rams might catch a break as the Philadelphia Eagles play the Seahawks and LA in back-to-back weeks.

The Philadelphia Eagles will get the best the NFC West can offer when they play the Seattle Seahawks AND the Los Angeles Rams in back to back Week 13 and Week 14 games on the West Coast.

The Eagles, and possible league MVP candidate Carson Wentz, will get two division favorites when they open the month of December for two straight weeks away from home. Both matchups will be intriguing for NFC fans, and the Week 14 game in Los Angeles will feature the first two selections in the 2016 NFL Draft.

For the Rams, they might feel fortunate they are getting the Eagles AFTER a trip to the Pacific Northwest. Even without the Seahawks defense at full strength, Seattle is sure to give Philadelphia all they want.

After that, Wentz is sure to want a good showing when he faces the player selected before him in the draft. While many, myself included, believe the Rams made a mistake in selecting Jared Goff first, both have had sophomore seasons that have them in the MVP mix, with Wentz probably the better candidate.

It’s probably hard to imagine Philadelphia going 2-0 on their back-to back West Coast trip.

As good as the Eagles and Wentz have been, their two games against the NFC West, probably better than any two game stretch in the NFC East, is more than capable of delivering a one-two punch better than anyone Philadelphia will face this season.

For the Rams. They’ll hope that their main division rival can wear them down and out before sending them south for their Week 14 game in the Coliseum.
