Let’s not pretend the Los Angeles Rams and the Arizona Cardinals are two teams with similar games in common, or fighting for a playoff berth of NFC West title.

They aren’t, and it’s no knock against the Cardinals.

2017, and likely for the immediate future, the Rams are the better team both in terms of talent, and at the key positions that matter on Sunday.

Especially at quarterback.

Even with a healthy Carson Palmer, Jared Goff is still the better talent at that position in Week 13 for a Rams at Cardinals game.

Those are just the realities.

As a whole, the Rams are just better.

They showed that in London when Los Angeles dismantled Arizona 33-0. They showed it last week when they beat NFC South leader New Orleans.

At 8-3, it’s a safe bet that LA is the best team in the NFC West as Week 13 rolls around. As fortune, or misfortune would dictate, the Rams are headed in a different direction than Arizona. Los Angeles is on the way up, and that shutout the Cardinals endured is indicative of where these two organizations are.

The Cardinals got a taste of that a few weeks ago.

They’ll get another taste on Sunday.

Another shutout?
Probably not.
