3. Rams face heavy competition in NFC

As much credit as the Rams deserve for all of the key moves made over the last few weeks to give them a better chance at competing in the NFC once again during the 2018 season, that’s always easier said than done. Even if Los Angeles should benefit from the surprise experience last season to help them learn from their mistakes to hopefully make a deeper run in the playoffs, there will be numerous contenders standing in their way to prevent it from happening.

While the Philadelphia Eagles will rightfully be considered one of the early favorites to repeat as Super Bowl champions after their miraculous run a few months ago, there are other teams like the Minnesota Vikings that will be built strong enough as well. The Vikings were already considered one of the early favorites along with the Eagles to make a run at representing the NFC in next year’s Super Bowl, but the addition of Kirk Cousins just took the expectations for Mike Zimmer‘s team to a whole new level.

In other words, Los Angeles will need all of the major help they can get if they’re going to have any chance of taking down the Eagles, Vikings, or any other strong contender in the NFC to potentially earn a trip to the Super Bowl. At least if Suh were to end up joining the team, it would give the Rams a better chance of competing with the rest of the contenders in the NFC.
