2. Concerns over playing on shorter week

No matter what team players happen to be on, games on Thursday night will always be viewed as a major concern since it’s insane to think about how quickly those teams need to prepare after participating in games just a few days before. Even with the Rams playing on an extremely high level over the first three games, it will be interesting to see how the players adjust to playing on a shorter week, and if it results in them struggling since it’s not always easy to prepare for a quick turnaround.

On a positive note, at least Los Angeles can worry about getting this earlier game on Thursday out of the way instead of having to deal with it later on in the season when chances are, their bodies would have been more worn down. Still, this doesn’t take away from the frustration surrounding teams being forced to play games on Thursdays in general, and the Vikings could be at just as much of a disadvantage in this one.

McVay will do everything in his power to put his team in the best position possible to improve to 4-0 on Thursday, but will it even be enough for the Rams? This team was already one of the biggest victims of the injury bug this past weekend, and if more pile up on Thursday, it’s going to make Los Angeles even more frustrated over having to play on a shorter week.
