1. Rams won and earned extra rest

Ask any NFL player, and it’s safe to say just about everyone feels the same about having to play on Thursday night, as it forces teams to play games on short rest, and even puts certain players at risk for injuries. Still, the good news for the Rams is as frustrating as it was to be playing on a shorter week, at least they were able to get their turn out of the way by playing in September while earning a win in the process.

Even better, thanks to playing on Thursday instead of Sunday, Los Angeles should benefit from a few extra days of rest before hitting the road for what should be a tough battle with the Seattle Seahawks, who are coming off a big win of their own over the Arizona Cardinals. No matter what the NFC West standings indicate, the Rams always know the Seahawks are going to be a tough battle to face each time, and Sunday’s game will be no different.

Seattle seems to be going through a year of rebuilding on their own after all of the key changes made on both sides of the football during the offseason, but this could easily become a trap game for Los Angeles if they’re not careful. At least for the Rams, one key advantage they already have over the Seahawks will be the extra couple of days off following their Week 4 win over the Vikings.
