3. Keenum didn’t torch them like 2017

Any time a players faces their former team, it’s always filled with excitement since it provides a little revenge factor to the upcoming battle, which the Rams were wondering about for Sunday’s game since Case Keenum was the new quarterback under center. A few years ago, Keenum was in a tough position with Los Angeles since he knew it was only a matter of time before Jared Goff took over the starting role under center after the team used the top overall pick on the former California star during the draft in 2016.

Since Goff took over to close out his rookie season, Keenum signed with the Minnesota Vikings during the 2017 season to be a backup to Sam Bradford, but every football fans know how this whole situation played out. Once Bradford went down, Keenum took full advantage of the situation by leading the Vikings to the NFC Championship before falling to the Philadelphia Eagles.

During the regular season in 2017, Keenum sort of got revenge against his former team after leading Minnesota to a 24-7 win over Los Angeles in what can be best described as a major wake up call for the NFC West champions at the time. This time around, however, it was the Rams that ended up with the last laugh after keeping Keenum and the Broncos in check for the most part on offense after allowing them to score just 20 points.
