3 reasons Los Angeles Rams were big winners in Week 7 for defeating San Francisco 49ers

1. Undefeated for another week
Once the Kansas City Chiefs officially lost to the New England Patriots in Week 6, the Rams became the only undefeated team left in the NFL, and even though some believed this would bring a whole new level of pressure, they’ve been handling it quite well so far. In a way, the argument can be made that Los Angeles would be better off if they suffered a loss sooner rather than later to avoid the unnecessary pressure, but this isn’t going to stop them from continuing to enjoy the ride.
Whether it was defeating the Minnesota Vikings at home or winning those two close games on the road over the Seahawks and Broncos, the Rams continue to make it clear why they deserve to be considered the team to beat in the NFC. Expectations were high for Los Angeles in the offseason when looking at all of the key additions made on both sides of the football ranging from Ndamukong Suh to Brandin Cooks, and this team deserves all of the credit in the world for living up to the hype through seven weeks.
Of course, just because everything has been going great for the Rams so far with their 7-0 start doesn’t mean it’s going to last since McVay knows this team still has a long way to go over these next two months or so. The last thing Los Angeles wants to see happen is the team suffer a few key losses to mess up the momentum, but at least for now, this team isn’t giving any reasons for concern over this being the case.
