1. Stay healthy

This time of year can be tough on teams that lose key players to serious injuries, as the Philadelphia Eagles learned last season with Carson Wentz, although it was amazing to see them go on to win the Super Bowl with Nick Foles running the offense.

For the Rams, the team has already been adjusting at wide receiver to the loss of Cooper Kupp after the wide receiver suffered a torn ACL a few weeks ago. And while Josh Reynolds has certainly done a great job filling in at the No. 3 spot in the passing game, Los Angeles doesn’t want to see any other of their key players get hurt.

Even before the bye week, there were some concerns about Todd Gurley after the news broke he was dealing with a minor ankle injury during the game against the Kansas City Chiefs before showing this past weekend there are no reasons for concern.

Best case scenario, Los Angeles accomplishes their other two goals as soon as possible so McVay is in position to rest some of the starters over the last game or two. Staying healthy could very well be the most important factor for the Rams come January when it comes to making a run at the Super Bowl, but hopefully it won’t be an issue.
