It’s hard to pick who has been worse in the NFC West between the Niners and the Cardinals, but if you had to bet, you wonder how much better San Francisco is with a healthy Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback. I say that as it looks like Arizona is a completely baked cake with Cards management making the early switch to rookie Josh Rosen.

Entering Week 15, the Cardinals are playing out the string and will begin to assess immediately after the holidays where this team goes next. Trying to figure out how good or bad Rosen is will be a difficult task as he’s played behind a bad offensive line. That same O-line also hampered a running game stuck in quicksand.

With three games to go, and looking at their schedule, it’s hard to see Arizona finishing with a flourish of any kind. After traveling to Atlanta, the Cardinals finish the homestand against NFC West champions Los Angeles Rams, and will go on the road to finish 2018 against the Seattle Seahawks who could still be in a fight for the playoffs.

O-3 to finish equals a season record of 3-13. That’s a rebuild by any definition, but not likely unexpected given the questions coming into the season.
