2. McVay has never suffered back-to-back losses

Back in the 2017 offseason, the Rams knew they were taking a huge risk on McVay as the youngest head coach in NFL history at the time, which ended up being well worth it.

When seeing how Los Angeles became the first team in NFL history to go from worst to first in scoring along with shocking the rest of the league by winning the NFC West, it quickly became clear just how special of a coach McVay is.

In a way, it’s kind of amazing to think about how it took until December of this season just for McVay to experience back-to-back losses for the first time as head coach for the Rams, but also fans knew it had to happen at some point.

Normally, this wouldn’t be considered that big of a deal since Los Angeles is still in great shape with an 11-3 record.

However, the timing for McVay suffering back-to-back losses for the first time couldn’t have been worse when seeing how it happened in December when the team is currently battling for the No. 1 spot in the NFC playoff picture with the New Orleans Saints.

For McVay’s sake, here’s to hoping the Rams coach can handle the pressure of making sure his team doesn’t watch their losing streak extend to three games, or Week 17 is going to be even more interesting.
