4. Force more turnovers

During their first meeting with the Saints, the Rams only forced one turnover the entire game, which came on a fumble by Mark Ingram.

No matter what it takes, Los Angeles needs to figure out a way to win the turnover battle against New Orleans, whether it has to be forcing fumble on the ground or simply taking away passes from Drew Brees through the air.

Brees may be one of the strong candidates to take home MVP honors at the moment, and has yet to record multiple interceptions in a single game all season, but last weekend’s game against the Divisional Round shows it is possible to pick him off.

On the first play of that game, the Philadelphia Eagles did an amazing job intercepting the first pass thrown by Brees since it gave them a huge momentum swing early on. And if the Rams could figure out a way to do the same, it could give them a huge advantage.

There’s a reason why Brees will go down as one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game of football, and whether it comes from him or someone else on the Saints’ offense, the Rams need to find ways to force the turnovers.
