2. Targets should be there for Cooks

No matter what it takes, Goff is going to make the extra effort to make sure Cooks gets as many passes thrown in his direction as possible since this will put Los Angeles in much better position to finish on the winning end against New England.

Just how special of a player is Cooks? Well, dating all the way back to his earlier years as a member of the New Orleans Saints, Cooks has seen more than 100 targets four seasons in a row, which shouldn’t come as a surprise one bit.

Cooks possesses the kind of speed that any offense would love to have, and seeing him earn 117 targets during the regular season along with 14 in the playoffs shouldn’t come as a surprise one bit.

In fact, Cooks managed to haul in seven of the eight passes thrown in his direction during the NFC Championship for 107 yards, showing once again how key his contributions could be when it matters the most in the Super Bowl.

Even though there were only two occasions during the regular season when Cooks saw double-digit targets, this could easily happen in the Super Bowl, especially if this contest turns into an epic shootout between the two teams.
