From a rivalry perspective, just the thought of Earl Thomas coming over to the Rams after spending his entire career up to this point as a member of the Seahawks would put a huge smile on the face of any Los Angeles fan.

Forget the leg injury that limited Thomas to playing in just four games during the 2018 season, as the safety will easily be one of the most popular free agents for teams to target, mainly because he’s simply one of the best at his position.

Assuming Thomas is able to pick right up where he left off once healthy enough to return to action, it will be interesting to see what kind of contract he lands since he’s certainly not going to come cheap.

Over the last couple of months, Thomas has already been linked to a few potential interested teams like the Dallas Cowboys, but what if the Rams were to join the sweepstakes?

The rivalry between the Rams and Seahawks was already considered one of the best in the NFL based off the last couple of seasons, but Thomas joining the NFC champions could take things to a whole new level since Seattle most likely wouldn’t take the news well at all.
