Potential free agent targets for Los Angeles Rams in 2019 from NFC West

Earl Mitchell
Before anyone points out that signing a player like Earl Mitchell, who will be 32 at the end of September, sounds ridiculous, take a look back at some of the other older veterans Los Angeles has brought on board over the last two years, and this would seem worth the chance.
After the 49ers made the decision to decline his two-year option, Mitchell is set to hit the free agent market next month, and should be able to find a new team with ease in need of help at defensive tackle.
Experience wise, Mitchell has learned a lot during his nine years spent in the NFL, and the veteran is getting to a point in his career where joining a serious contender makes sense to give him a legitimate shot at earning a Super Bowl before the time comes to consider retirement.
Luckily for Mitchell, the Rams fall right into that category since this team has proven to be built for years to come, and could always use depth on the defensive side of the football. Plus, with San Francisco already declining his two-year option, Los Angeles doesn’t have to worry about Mitchell making a return to the 49ers, meaning this is one less team to compete with signing the defensive tackle if the interest is there.
