12. Green Bay Packers: Noah Fant, Tight End, Iowa

Watching the Green Bay Packers miss out on the playoffs in each of the last two seasons was a major surprise since this team always seems to be a lock when Aaron Rodgers is healthy.

Moving on from Mike McCarthy the way they did was considered a slap in the face by many, but also the case can be made the move was overdue since the former head coach seemed to be holding Rodgers back during his prime years.

With Green Bay going a bit younger at head coach after hiring Matt LaFleur, the Packers hope his history of working with quarterbacks can help Rodgers reach a new level in 2019 while helping the team put an end to their playoff drought.

Last year, the Packers were hoping that Jimmy Graham would continue to look like one of the top pass-catching tight ends in the league, only to watch the veteran catch just 55 passes for 636 yards with just two touchdowns.

Since Graham will be 33 by the end of next season, Green Bay could use this year’s draft to find a future replacement, and Noah Fant with his set of skills seems like the perfect candidate. After hauling in 18 touchdowns over his final two seasons at Iowa, Fant seems ready to make a similar impact at the NFL level.
