3 potential free agent targets for Los Angeles Rams from Chicago Bears in 2019

3. Bryan Witzmann
It seems like only yesterday that Jared Goff was a rookie who couldn’t win a single game because the offensive line of the Rams was that horrendous, but at least this is no longer the case.

Protecting the former California star has become a top priority for Los Angeles over the last two seasons, and it’s been amazing to see how great the unit has looked overall since Sean McVay came on board two years ago as the youngest head coach in NFL history.
With that being said, as great as the offensive line has looked over the last two seasons, there are some questions surrounding the unit this offseason, highlighted by whether Andrew Whitworth will retire or if Rodger Saffold will be too expensive to bring back in free agency.
Even if both players end up sticking around, the Rams could always use some depth to the offensive line just to be safe, which is where Bryan Witzmann could come into play.
Witzmann came up big for Chicago last season while Kyle Long was recovering from an injury after signing with the team in October shortly after his release from the Minnesota Vikings. Some will view Witzmann’s situation struggling to find a team to stick with as a reason for concern, but the guard could come at a fair price worth taking a chance on for the Rams.
