3. Damien Wilson

At the moment, early signs point to Damien Wilson ending up on a new team for the 2019 season after spending the last four years as a member of the Cowboys, although things could quickly change when it comes to the NFL.

Since joining Dallas in 2015 after the team decided to use a fourth-round pick on the linebacker, Wilson has appeared in every game for the Cowboys, but only started 22 of the 64 contests.

Still, just the fact that Wilson has been able to remain healthy along with finding ways to contribute shows how underrated he’s been for the defense, and even if Dallas decides to try keeping him around, chances are there will be more opportunities on other teams.

Dating back to last offseason, linebacker was one of the weaker areas for the Rams on defense, and while Dante Fowler Jr., who could end up hitting free agency as well, helped fill the void after coming over from the Jacksonville Jaguars, the unit still needs help.

Without question, Wade Phillips seems like the kind of defensive coordinator who would love the chance to work with a linebacker like Wilson, especially if he hasn’t hit his true NFL potential yet.
