3. Mark Ingram

Let the record show that if running back were a top priority for the Rams, chances are Mark Ingram would be higher on this list since his toughness can make it difficult for any opponent to deal with when he’s in the zone.

While Todd Gurley isn’t leaving anytime soon, Los Angeles does face an interesting situation with C.J. Anderson as the No. 2 running back on offense since as much as they would love to bring the veteran back for another year, he certainly won’t be cheap.

Then again, Ingram good end up being quite hefty as well since the former Alabama star knows his value after looking at all of his accomplishments from over the years in New Orleans, so it will be interesting to see how things play out in free agency.

Ingram has proven to be at his best when splitting carries in the backfield since the Saints were fortunate to land one of the biggest steals in the draft two years ago with Alvin Kamara, which is why this would seem like an intriguing option for the Rams.

However, as mentioned before, whether this even becomes a potential option will come down to what happens with Anderson since Los Angeles seems set on trying to bring him back for his first full season with the team.
