3. Jonathan Cooper

Without question, the Redskins face a tough decision on their hands in regards to Jonathan Cooper at guard, and whether it would be worth bringing him back for a second season with the team after limited action in 2018.

More from Ramblin' Fan

Washington being Cooper’s fourth team in four seasons shows how difficult it has been for the former North Carolina star to find a consistent home, and while there’s nothing he would love more than to remain with the Redskins, nothing is guaranteed in the NFL.

One can only imagine how different things would have been in 2018 if Cooper never tore his biceps muscle, but at least the four games he played in before the injury along with appearing in 13 games the year before with the Dallas Cowboys is note worthy.

Just like a few other free agents the Rams could end up targeting, Cooper seems like one of those players who could be a low-risk signing with a high reward, especially if he finds a way to make an impact on the field when given the opportunity to do so.

Going back all the way to 2013, keep in mid there’s a reason why Cooper was viewed as a top guard in his class after going No. 7 to the Arizona Cardinals, and it sounds crazy to say, but maybe Los Angeles could finally be the team that helps him live up to his true potential.
