1. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix

Since the Redskins were in a great position to compete for a playoff spot most of last season, Washington was in a win-now mode leading up to the deadline when it comes to their will to bring any necessary player on board.

For a player who was a former first-round pick back in 2014 on top of being a Pro Bowler back in 2016, the Redskins were hoping that acquiring Ha Ha Clinton-Dix from the Green Bay Packers before last year’s deadline would turn out to be a steal.

Even better, all Washington had to give up in exchange for the safety was a fourth-round pick, although it would have been a bigger steal if the team did end up making the playoffs.

As much as the Redskins would love to bring Clinton-Dix back for his first full season with the team, they also know he’s going to come at a hefty price. And if Washington has this mindset, there’s no question that Los Angeles realizes this as well when it comes to Clinton-Dix.

After Lamarcus Joyner’s season playing under the franchise tag turned out to be a disappointment for the most part, the Rams will be using the next few months to consider all options at the safety position.

Whether Clinton-Dix happens to be one of the candidates, only time will tell for the NFC champions, but it’s certainly a move strongly worth considering for Los Angeles.
