3. Kayvon Webster

Two years ago when the free agency period for the 2017 season got underway, the Rams believed they earned one of the biggest steals at cornerback in Kayvon Webster, as the organization was excited to see the defender reunite with Wade Phillips on defense.

Webster didn’t stand out like some of the other top cornerbacks available at the time, but after looking at how Phillips seemed to bring out the best in the corner at times during their time spent together with the Denver Broncos, it was easy to understand the excitement.

Unfortunately, Webster’s first and only season with the team would be limited to just 11 games after a ruptured Achilles late in December that year, which was part of the reason why he was released the following offseason before joining the Texans.

There was nothing Webster wanted more than to see his career get back on track in Houston, but once again injuries came into play, and he would be limited to just two games, making it easy to understand why he’s hitting the open market.

However, if the Rams were open to giving Webster another shot with the hope of providing some depth to the position, this is a move that shouldn’t be ruled out.
