4. Damien Harris

Looking back over the years, Alabama has seen plenty of great running backs go on to succeed at the NFL level, and while Josh Jacobs has received most of the attention in recent weeks from the Crimson Tide, Damien Harris deserves to be right up there as well.

Right away, one of the great things to love about a running back like Harris is how he was already used to splitting carries with some of his teammates at Alabama, meaning if the Rams were interested in a similar approach, this doesn’t look like it would become an issue.

The fact that Harris was able to rush for 20 touchdowns over the final two seasons with the Crimson Tide while sharing carries will draw a ton of interest, whether it happens to be from Los Angeles or other teams.

Harris’ burst may not be as explosive as Gurley’s on offense, but he certainly makes up for it in other areas, and could even take on a similar role to C.J. Anderson, depending on whether the veteran returns for his first full season with the team.

Also, at least Harris would come at a cheaper price since after Anderson came up big towards the end of last season, it seems like a only a matter of time before he’s rewarded with a hefty new deal.
