3. Intense September

As previously mentioned, the Rams will begin the 2019 season on the road with a tough matchup on the road against the Panthers, who will be extra motivated to get back on track after collapsing in the final two months of last season.

Thanks to a 6-2 start, Carolina seemed to at least be a lock for a Wild Card spot before failing to win another game until Week 17 when the New Orleans Saints were resting all their starters, meaning the argument can be made the victory doesn’t really count.

Defeating the Panthers on the road will be no easy task for the Rams, but their next two games will be even tougher.

While hosting the New Orleans Saints for a rematch of the NFC Championship in Week 2 could end up being one of the toughest games of the season for Los Angeles, the team gets to hit the road again for Week 3 with a matchup against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday Night Football.

Once the Rams get through these three games, the team will close out the first month of the regular season by facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home in front of their own fans.

The first month certainly won’t be easy for Los Angeles, but at least this will be a good early test to see where the team stands as far as the rest of the NFC is concerned.
