1. Big test final two months

Once the Rams return from their bye week, the final eight games are going to be filled with all sorts of tough challenges, including four of those contests being against teams that reached the playoffs last season.

On top of these four games, Los Angeles will also return from the bye week with a tough matchup on the road against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is never an easy place to play due to the field conditions and hostile environment.

After taking on the Steelers, the Rams will return home for key games against two of the top defenses in the Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears.

While Los Angeles didn’t face Baltimore during the 2018 season, fans remember well just how awful the offense looked in that game against Chicago when their defense prevented them from scoring a single touchdown.

Take this into consideration with two games in December against the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys, it’s easy to see why the Rams better be prepared for a tough stretch if they’re in position to earn one of the playoff spots in the NFC.

At least with McVay, Los Angeles should be well prepared for these final set of eight games to put them in the best position possible to live up to the hype in 2019.
