2. Ndamukong Suh

One can only imagine the temptation surrounding Los Angeles to bring back Suh for at least one more season to put them in a better position to make a run at the Super Bowl again with hopefully different results this time around.

But all things considered from a financial perspective, the Rams made the right call moving on from Suh since that money was used on other players at different positions.

Last offseason, just the thought of Suh joining a team like Los Angeles seemed like an absolute long shot since it didn’t seem like the Rams would be able to afford his asking price, which seems to be part of the reason why he’s not returning for the 2019 season.

As great as Suh was at times last season, Los Angeles never would have made the decision to let the veteran walk in free agency if they didn’t strongly believe other players filling in the void left on the defensive line.

Whether it happens to be Greg Gaines or someone else, it will be interesting to see how things look for the Rams with Suh officially out of the picture.

Then again, after all of the excitement surrounding the duo of Suh and Aaron Donald, it is a shame fans won’t get to see a second season of action with these two playing together.
