3. Blidi Wreh-Wilson

As excited as the Rams are for the duo of Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib for another season in 2019, the team also knows there’s some uncertainty over whether the two will be around beyond 2019.

More from Ramblin' Fan

With both players entering the final year of their contracts, Peters seems like the better option to be around for the long run since Los Angeles is already debating whether the cornerback would be worth an extension, and Talib is up there in age.

But when it comes to the NFL, there are no guarantees, meaning there’s always the chance of the Rams being without both players during the 2019 season, although the chances of that seems highly unlikely at this point.

Still, when taking all of this into consideration, it certainly can’t hurt to add a little extra depth to the position just in case, and while Blidi Wreh-Wilson may not be the top cornerback on the roster for the Falcons, this could be a player they would be more up for trading.

The fact that Wreh-Wilson was signed to a one-year deal by the Falcons for a third offseason in a row back in February shows there doesn’t seem to be any long-term commitment to the cornerback.

If anything, this could turn into a low risk, potentially high reward situations for the Rams if Wreh-Wilson were to become available while providing extra depth at the position in the process.
