3. Grover Stewart

A team like the Rams could always use extra depth when it comes to the defensive side of the football, and with all due respect to Grover Stewart, this is a player the Colts could afford to move on from if the right offer were to be made.

More from Ramblin' Fan

Two years ago, Indianapolis decided to use a fourth-round pick on the Albany State product, and while the Colts have high expectations for Stewart heading into his third NFL season, it should be noted that he is currently listed as a backup on the depth chart.

Not to say that Stewart would move into the starting role if traded to the Rams since Tanzel Smart is listed as the starter at nose tackle for now before training camp, but at least this could make things a little more interesting from a competitive standpoint.

Best part is, if Los Angeles were able to pull this potential trade off for Stewart, they most likely would only have to give up a mid-round pick, meaning it would seem worth the risk.

Even if the argument can be made that Indianapolis would prefer to hang on to Stewart as insurance to Margus Hunt, Los Angeles has been able to work their magic before when it comes to pulling off surprise trades.
